ZKK Topolcanka once played the top division of Yugoslavia, during the bad economic situation in the 90’s in Serbia the club stopped to work in the beginning of 2000. After few years break the club again alive on the name OKK Topolcanka. The work stared with youth categories and very quick a very talented generation in U14 category in 2008 became 3rd in Serbia. One year later with the average age 14,5 we formed a senior women team which went for the qualification to the First Serbian League (which was the 3d League in Serbia in that time). For surprise on the qualification our senior women team finished on 3rd place and qualified to play in the 3rd league of Serbia. Just after 3 seasons here our team promotied to the National B League of Serbia, which is the 2nd league in Serbia. What was unique in this period? We played with homegrown players, and several our young players get invitation in the Serbian Youth National Team programs.
